Thank you for taking the time to read our story. We started this company because we wanted to share our vision with the world. Our true vision began when we purchased a late 1800 farm built house. Our true passion and understanding of wood was unlocked when we started renovating the house. To hold a piece of wood that is more than 250 years old is special.   That is when we decided there would be no drywall  or paint in this house. We reclaimed every piece of wood from the house even the log floor joices.  We spent countless nights de-nailing the pieces of wood.  We sent the wood away and had it remilled into flooring, wall covering and our kitchen cabinets. The wood has so much character and has so many unknown story’s.  We were then inspired to make furniture items for our home and that brings us here to Skunk-Worx.
